OSCAR BETTING HEATS UP

It is only a few weeks away to the 81st Academy Awards and two days ago, online sportbookies Bodog released their odds list for the winners of those prized statues.

The Oscars will be taking place on the 22nd February 2009 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Bodog’s favourites include Slumdog Millionaire for Best Film, with Danny Boyle garnering the best odds for Best Director.

Mickey Rourke looks set to snag his Oscar for Best Actor, as does Kate Winslet for Best Actress. Bodog considers Heath Ledger a shoe-in for Best Supporting Actor, with Penelope Cruz and Marisa Tomei hot options for Best Supporting Actress.
